Agriculture Minister Calls for Boost in Caribbean Trade

Montserrat’s Minister of Agriculture, Lands, Housing and the Environment, Honourable John Patrick Osborne is calling for increased trade within the Caribbean.

As a result of the changing trading landscape in the United States, the minister says regional trade should be further explored.

His comments followed the 118th Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED) Meeting in Antigua which he attended, representing Montserrat.

Speaking on the radio program “What’s on Your Mind” Honourable Osborne shared the contributions he made at the meeting specifically in the area of regional trade.

Hon. Osborne said his ministry is currently looking at areas where Montserrat can increase trade with regional counterparts.
