Montserrat Government UK Office Publishes Calendar of Summer Events

Montserrat’s heritage and culture are being celebrated in the United Kingdom with a range of summer events from June 12th to August 20th, 2025.

The celebrations begin with a night of readings with Montserratian writer and poet, Dr. Yvonne Weekes on June 12th, followed by Montserrat’s Heritage day on June 28th, and a Thanksgiving Service on June 29th to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the eruption of the Soufrière Hills Volcano.

Other summer events include mental health conversations, cultural performances, the Montserrat UK Festival, a commemoration service, youth workshops, and family fun days. These events will be taking place across London, Birmingham, and Manchester.
